     Lori Anne Shields was born and raised in Torrance, California, and comes from a family of artists, writers and actors. During her youth, she was in school plays, sang in the choir and was a sprinter on the Track Team at North Torrance High School and went to El Camino College for her AA in Communications, while playing Co-ed Volleyball.

 

     She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and has been singing in choirs and acting since she was three years old. She has had years of training and on set experience with lead and supporting roles in over thirty Theater Productions, as well as principle roles in many independent and short films, some TV and Cable shows including appearing as Raj's Bar Lady in "The Big Bang Theory: The Hofstadter Isotope", an episode of "Funny or Die" and an infomercial for Never sew fabric ware.

 

     She has been painting, mostly landscapes and fantasy, since college. She prefers to paint dragons and cats, but she has also done exclusives for Comic Con (where she has sold her artwork since 2006) such as Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. Her usual format is acrylic paint on canvas or canvas board and she also does backdrops for plays on large sheets.

 

     As well as being an acress, artist and singer, Lori Anne is also a writer. She Co-wrote a couple movies and cable T.V. Shows and has a book series (Tri-Heart Mysteries) in the works. She also is a script doctor, having reshaped numerous scripts, a dozen of which were plays that she produced, directed and acted in.
